US praises Albania for repatriating 5 Albanians from Syria: Victory for families

The United States Embassy in Tirana has appreciated the repatriation of 5 Albanians from Syria. 

In a response, the embassy quotes the US State Department's Bureau of Counterterrorism, writing that this "is a victory for these families and for global security."

"The United States commends Albania for repatriating its citizens from Syria, two recently returned women and three children, who are being provided with a future with support for rehabilitation and reintegration. A victory for these families and for global security," the Embassy's response states.
