The Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Montenegro, Nikollë Camaj, has spoken about the news spread by the Montenegrin media that Albania was one of two countries that are part of the much-discussed destabilization plan.

In an interview with Euronews Albania, Camaj said that from communications he had with Prime Minister Milojko Spajić, Albania was not part of this plan, even though the media reported it as such. 

He stated that there was fake news intended to damage relations between the two countries.

"It is clear that in recent days this hybrid war has taken a direction that is proving to damage Montenegro's European path, and of course this information has also reached the prime minister, who issued a statement a few days ago, but based on personal contacts with him and with people from his office, Albania is excluded, even though the media presents it as one of the countries it threatens." 

"It is excluded as a possibility that this could be because we all promote very good relations with Albania and Albania's interest that we will be the next member, expecting that Albania will be soon. All the articles that were presented on the first day were a false contribution to this hybrid war, it is known that it was given to prove that Montenegro's relations with Albania are broken," said Camaj.
