Seven months pregnant, 37-year-old woman dies during transport to Tirana

A 37-year-old pregnant woman has lost her life while being transported to Tirana to receive specialized medical treatment.

The woman, with the initials MK, was in her seventh month of pregnancy and had initially presented to the Pogradec hospital due to health concerns.

After evaluation by doctors and examinations, it was decided that she would be sent to a specialized hospital in the capital.

But along the way, in the area near Elbasan, the 37-year-old's condition deteriorated. Despite interventions, she passed away.

The causes and circumstances of death are expected to be determined after the forensic examination and autopsy.
