Fighting fires in the country, the most problematic situation in Debar

The Ministry of Defense has published the balance of the fire situation in the country, based on operational data as of 20:00 on August 30. During the past 24 hours, 20 fires have been reported, 7 of which remain active, while 3 others are under surveillance.

Active outbreaks are mainly concentrated in Tirana, Dibër, Korçë and Durrës, while the most stressful situation is reported in the Dibër district.

In Dajt , in the direction of Qafë-Priskë, the intervention continues with 15 firefighters, 9 AdZM forces and 20 military personnel, while a helicopter has also been engaged in the operation.

In Dibër , interventions continue in Vajkal, where 38 MZSH forces and 30 AF personnel are engaged, as well as in Sllatina, where 91 forces are operating.

The foci in Lundre i Matit and Ballenjë i Martanesh also remain active , the latter in a protected area.

In Qafë i Lugut, in Vithkuq, the fire continues to burn in forest areas. Due to the difficult terrain, the fire will be monitored overnight.

Meanwhile, the fire in Zalla, Fushë-Krujë, has been brought under control after the intervention of firefighting, municipal forces and 30 members of the Armed Forces. According to authorities, there are no residential areas at risk.
