18-year-old waiter confesses to barbaric violence: They threatened to destroy my body

The shocking testimony of Genti Nela, the waiter who was brutally raped by the owners of the hotel where he was employed, comes to light after he asked for payment because he was going to start another job.

Florian Habilaj and Enold Dragoti were arrested and are being held in custody for 45 days for raping Neli on the evening of August 27.

Waiter's report: On 10.07.2026, Genti Nela says that he started working as a bartender at the hotel-restaurant "FLAR", located in the area of ​​Mali i Robi. He talked to citizens Florian and Arbër Habilaj about starting work. He received his first salary on 10.08.2026 and then continued working normally. On 27.08.2026, he requested the salary from citizens Florian and Arbër Habilaj, after he had decided to continue working elsewhere.

Both were present when he announced this decision, but they did not accept his dismissal. Along with them were citizens Enold Dragoti and Mariglen Mosha, the latter being the husband of Florian and Arbër's sister, while Enold is their friend.

Nela says that after they did not accept his dismissal, he was cursed at by both brothers and that the first person to hit him was Florian, who initially punched him. Then, Arbëri hit him with a glass ashtray on the head, face and body.

He was also hit by Enold Dragoti, while Marigleni held him the entire time, preventing him from leaving, while the others hit him repeatedly.

He explained that he was hit many times without interruption and that he had no way to leave, as he was near the counter and they had blocked his way.

Nela stressed that she felt her life was in danger, as she was facing four people who were using sharp objects and that, as a result of the blows, she was bleeding profusely.

According to him, while they were hitting him, they verbally stated that they would kill him and used insulting expressions towards him. In these circumstances, to defend himself, he took a glass and hit Florian in the head.

He also punched them, as he had no other way to get rid of them, since they had blocked his path. After being hit with the glass, he managed to run away, but was chased by the four and their path was blocked again, where, according to his statement, he was hit again.

He then managed to run away again, called his mother and informed her about the incident. After that, he went to the police station to file a report.

The declarant explained that he had never had any conflicts with the aforementioned persons before and that, throughout the entire period of employment, he had been correct in performing his duties, and, according to him, he had even been appreciated and thanked for the work he performed.

He also stated that, throughout the time he was being beaten, he was constantly threatened with being killed and disappeared. According to him, they told each other to beat and kill him and, even though he was bleeding, they continued to encourage each other to continue the beatings.

They also told him that they would not allow him to go to the police and that they would not let him leave the counter to file a report. According to his statement, the same threats were made to him when they took him out on the street for the second time.
