Mladic's death, Berisha: Vučić supported him, once sought refuge for the "butcher of Bosnia"

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has reacted through a Facebook post following the death of former Bosnian Serb commander Ratko Mladic, sentenced to life imprisonment for genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes.

Berisha writes that the death of the "butcher of Bosnia" in the International Tribunal hospital in The Hague should serve as a reminder of the crimes committed during the war in Bosnia.

The leading democrat mentions the Srebrenica massacre, where more than 8,000 Bosnian men and boys were killed, as well as the siege of Sarajevo, holding Mladic responsible for some of the most serious war crimes in Bosnia.

Berisha writes that Vučić's associates, including Aleksandar Vulin, have demanded that Mladić be buried with state honors in Belgrade.

Friends, a UN spokesman announced these days that Ratko Mladić, the butcher of the Srebrenica genocide, has died in a hospital at the UN International Criminal Tribunal in The Hague. Ratko Mladić is serving a life sentence for genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes for the 1995 massacre in which at least 8,000 Muslim boys and men were killed in Srebrenica, a UN “safe area” in Bosnia.

This massacre is considered the worst atrocity in Europe since World War II. Mladić led the three-year artillery bombardment of Sarajevo, which was besieged by the Serbian army, killing at least 10,000 unarmed children, women and men in the Bosnian capital.

The soul in hell of the Bosnian butcher is the greeting of civilized people around the world.

But Aleksandar Vučić and his associates have a different attitude towards Mladić's death. While his associates, such as Vulin, demand his burial with state honors in Belgrade, Vučić repeatedly attacked The Hague, even a week before his death, for inhuman and irresponsible treatment, and demanded his treatment in hospitals in Belgrade.

Friends, we must not forget that at a time when Vučić's idol, the executioner commander of the Muslim civilian population in Bosnia, Ratko Mladić, was hiding like a mouse from international justice, terrified by the genocide and crimes against humanity he had committed, a young Serbian extremist nationalist gained fame with his initiative of a "house for Mladić", an initiative with which he invited Serbs to offer a safe haven where he could hide from the Hague Tribunal, that is, a mouse hole, to his hero, the monster general Ratko Mladić. This young initiator of the mouse hole for Mladić who sought to obstruct international justice was Aleksandar Vučić himself.
