Fight between minors in Prizren, 15-year-old stabbed to death

A serious incident shook Prizren last night, where a 15-year-old lost his life after being attacked with a knife.

Kosovo Police announced that they received a report of the incident at around 23:45. A police patrol arrived at the scene, where they found emergency teams providing first aid to the minor.

The 15-year-old was urgently transported to the Prizren Regional Hospital, but despite the doctors' efforts, he was unable to survive his injuries and passed away.

A little further away from the scene, police have identified and arrested another juvenile, around 17 years old, who is suspected of being the perpetrator of the attack. During the search of him, the knife suspected of being used in the incident was also found and seized.

By order of the State Prosecutor, the victim's body was sent to the IML for an autopsy, while the suspect was detained for 24 hours.

Investigations to fully clarify the circumstances continue.
