Muçollari hits out at Rama and Veliaj: Tirana Municipality, instrument of the Rilindja clans

Member of the Presidency of the Democratic Party, Grigels Muçollari, has reacted to the recent developments in the Municipality of Tirana, following the decision of Mayor Erion Veliaj to withdraw the powers of the acting mayor, Anuela Ristani.

Through a reaction on Facebook, Muçollari considers the situation another example of how, according to him, the Municipality of Tirana has been used as a tool for political interests and clashes within the government.

According to Muçollari, while the clash over the leadership of the institution continues in the Municipality of Tirana, the city faces a series of problems that are directly related to the lives of citizens.

Muçollari also criticizes the Socialist Party and its leaders, claiming that their attention is focused on political control of the municipality and not on the city's problems.

The news coming from Tirana has nothing to do with these services, which are related to the citizen, with concerns and quality of life. No, the news is about the Municipality as power, as an instrument of force, as a political game. About the municipality that is used for the personal interests of the Rilindja clans.

A model that must end once and for all. Tirana and its citizens have been penalized for years and mandates by treating the municipality as a catapult for someone and not as a service office for everyone.
