Prime Minister Edi Rama has changed the venue of the meeting with ministers and political leaders of the Socialist Party, scheduled to take place today at 5:30 PM at the SP headquarters. The reason is reportedly a protest announced in front of the pink headquarters at the same time.

Sources close to the Socialist Party confirm that the meeting will not take place at the SP headquarters, while according to Top Channel's reporting, the most likely alternative is the Brigades Palace.

The protest was announced the day before, at the end of the 89th rally in Tirana. From the protest square, activists called on citizens to return today in front of the Socialist Party headquarters, exactly at the time when the meeting of socialist leaders was scheduled.

The call made during the protest also called for the use of eggs against political leaders and government ministers, a scenario similar to the protests held in late July in front of Parliament.

Meanwhile, Rama's meeting with ministers and political leaders is expected to focus on the political organization and activity of the Socialist Party in the territory, in the context of preparations for the 2027 local elections.
