A video from Ohio was published as an Albanian "success" in the fight against fires.

The head of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, has shared on social media images of a helicopter dropping water on a fire in a mountainous area, accompanying them with the message " What precision," the hashtag #onduty and the Albanian flag.

But a simple check shows that the footage was not filmed in Albania.

As can be seen, the video belongs to a fire in Ohio, USA, and was previously published on social media by American citizens about four weeks before Balla's post.

Thus, a video made in the US was used to accompany a message that creates the impression that it is about an operation carried out by Albanian authorities.

At a time when the country is facing numerous fires, the use of foreign footage to illustrate the performance of the Albanian authorities has exposed Balla's propaganda bluff.
