They came into contact with the electricity in Karma, while the residents testify that the ambulance arrived about an hour and a half after the announcement.
They openly denounce that Vau i Dejës has been without an ambulance for months, without a functional emergency and without doctors for 24 hours.
And this is an untold horror.
An hour and a half late, from Shkodra!
In an emergency, this is not just a delay. It is an endless anxiety between life and death.
Arriving on time would have saved lives, but Rama's state has denied the residents the opportunity to receive the necessary help.
This is the reality hidden behind the propaganda of "free healthcare". The government has millions for concessions, offices, facades and propaganda films, but it cannot find an ambulance for an area with tens of thousands of residents.
This is what the "efficiency" of centralizing services means at the same time, removing the service from the citizen and ignoring him.
And everything is then paid for with anxiety, pain, mass departures and, sometimes, with human lives.
Rama's Salaj, who is still silent, must immediately publish the time when the call for help was received, the time of departure and arrival of the ambulance, the location of the ambulances at that moment, the reason why Vau i Dejës was left without emergency vehicles and the names and responsibilities of the leaders who allowed this situation, starting with the Minister herself.
A full investigation is needed, clear administrative and criminal responsibility.
The citizens of Vau i Dejës do not ask for luxury. They ask for the elementary right that, when they fight for their lives, the state does not arrive after everything has ended and death has imposed its law.
My deepest condolences to the Deda and Preka families!
Their pain should not be covered by institutional silence and impunity for those directly responsible and for those who today govern with extreme arrogance and arrogance.
