The resignation of the Minister of Health, Evis Sala, has also brought the reaction of the DP MP, Jorida Tabaku.

According to Tabaku, Sala's resignation comes at a time when the government is preparing to change the way it manages medicines and procurement in the health sector. 

According to Tabaku, it is an agency that will take over a range of functions, from the storage and administration of medicines, to transportation, specifications and management of the strategic reserve. She warns that such concentration could limit competition and increase costs for citizens.

The Minister of Health has resigned at the very moment when a new agency is expected to be created, a super agency, a super company that will manage all tenders in the health field.

It will have the task of storing, administering, defining specifications, considering suggestions for the strategic reserve, and transporting all medicines, but on the other hand, it will serve as an additional link between the consumer and the healthcare system, increasing not only costs, because all tenders in the healthcare field are concentrated in one hand, but will practically be the player and the gatekeeper in an abusive market that has many problems.

And the figures are not few, they are figures that speak of tenders worth almost 150 billion lek, 1.5 billion euros.

This agency is the best example of the system, it is the best example of monopolization, concentration in a few hands, destruction of competition, price increases, damage that will be done at the expense of citizens, and of course in favor of the prime minister's chosen ones and the government's chosen ones.

Because, that's how the system works: collecting more and more money, more and more power, and it doesn't spare anyone. This time, it doesn't spare the lives, it doesn't spare the health of citizens.

That is why we must be together, more united than ever to oppose that machine, that propaganda, that system that today is eating, eroding Albania, destroying everything.
