Oliger Torba appointed head of Tirana Police

Oliger Torba was appointed this Tuesday (September 2, 2026) as head of the Tirana Police.

Since April, he has held the position of Deputy Director of the Tirana Police, while previously he was the acting director and deputy director of the Police in Fier.

Torba's appointment as head of the capital's police force comes in the wake of recent changes among the blue uniforms.

We recall that movements in the Police were noted not only in Tirana, but also in Berat, Korça and Elbasan.
