US issues coin with Donald Trump's image

The U.S. Mint said today that new $1 gold coins featuring President Donald Trump are now in circulation, marking the second time in U.S. history that a living president has appeared on U.S. coins.

The coin has gone on sale as part of preparations for the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States, American media report. 

They can be purchased in packs of 25 or 100 pieces and cost $61 and $154, respectively. 

Despite its color, the coin contains no gold, being 88.5% copper with smaller amounts of zinc, manganese, and nickel.
