Protest escalates, the entrance to the Prime Minister's Office is blocked:

Protesters have moved to the entrance of the Prime Minister's Office and attempted to block the exit from the building, after learning that Prime Minister Edi Rama is inside the institution's premises.

"Come out to the boulevard!" is the call that the protesters are directing to the prime minister, as they continue to stand in front of the building and demand that Rama come out to face them.

State Police officers have been stationed at the entrance to the Prime Minister's Office, who have created a cordon in front of the building and are monitoring the situation.

The protest continues amid calls against the government, while tension has increased as protesters demand that the prime minister leave the building and confront them on the boulevard.
