After almost three months of protest, citizens who have been protesting against the government for 94 days have changed the scenario today, moving towards the Prime Minister's Office building.

The protesters claim that the reason for this change was Prime Minister Edi Rama's visit to his office. The presence of the head of government in the Prime Minister's Office was considered by them as a provocation, which led them to change the way the rally was held and aim to block the entrances to the building.

Unlike previous days, where the protest took place mainly in front of the Prime Minister's Office, today the protesters approached the entrances of the building and demanded the removal of Edi Rama.

Calls for Rama's resignation and his arrest accompanied the rally.

The establishment of a police cordon in front of the entrance to the Prime Minister's Office has led to repeated clashes between officers and protesters. The police have attempted to remove citizens from the building, while the latter have opposed the intervention of the officers.

The situation became even more tense with the arrival of the water tanker, which was positioned behind the police forces. It is also learned that the protesters were also escorted by the police.
