Activist denounces police violence at the Prime Minister's Office: They are

Activist Emiljando Kita has denounced the use of violence by State Police officers during this evening's protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office.

In a video published on social media from the protest site, Kita states that the police intervened against citizens without being provoked by them and that some protesters were dragged away by the officers.

"We are witnesses that the police have used violence without being provoked, without firing anything. The police have used violence, have dragged and are now arresting protesters," the activist says.

The situation in front of the Prime Minister's Office remains tense. Protesters are facing a police cordon, while officers are attempting to clear the entrance to the building.

Some protesters were escorted by police, and a water tanker was also positioned in the area.
