Car hits motorbike, 17-year-old dies in Shkodra

A serious accident was recorded this afternoon in the outskirts of Shkodra.

According to preliminary data from the police, the incident occurred at around 2:20 p.m. in the village of Golem, where a vehicle driven by citizen AM, 50 years old, is suspected of colliding with a motorcycle in which two people were riding.

As a result of the collision, a 17-year-old lost his life, while the other person traveling in the motorcycle, citizen EN, 28 years old, was injured and was urgently taken to the Shkodra Regional Hospital where he is receiving medical attention.

The driver of the vehicle, 50-year-old AM, was immediately escorted to the Police premises for further procedural actions.

Meanwhile, the investigation team is carrying out all actions at the scene to fully determine the circumstances and causes of this tragic accident.
