The condition of the young man who suffered an eye injury during the student protest appears serious.

Sources from the Trauma Hospital indicate that he underwent a lengthy surgical intervention, aimed at removing a foreign body located at the back of the eyeball, but the intervention encountered technical difficulties.

According to the same sources, the eye injury appears very serious and it is suspected that the foreign body penetrated as a result of a direct blow to the eye, but the exact circumstances of the injury have not been confirmed.

Today, the young man will be re-evaluated by ophthalmologists at the Trauma Hospital, who will review his condition and further treatment options.

On the 11th day of the student and youth protest in Tirana, there were numerous clashes and many were injured by the violence used by the police.
