After the protesters were dispersed with tear gas, the tensions on the boulevard in front of the Prime Minister's Office also shifted to the media that were closely following the developments.

State Police officers forcibly pushed the film crews and journalists present away from the area in front of the Prime Minister's Office building and directed them to the part of the boulevard near the "Rogner" hotel.

The reasons for this police action have not yet been made known.

During the intervention, News24 journalist Renaldo Salianji was also forcibly pushed. According to reports from the scene, the officers asked the journalist to leave the security perimeter, although there were no distinctive signs in the area where he was located to define the boundaries of this perimeter.

The intervention against journalists and film crews occurred after the use of tear gas to disperse protesters, on the 13th day of the student revolt against Edi Rama's government.
