"You'll find trouble", Rama again threatens protesters with trains that don't exist

"You'll find trouble", Rama again threatens protesters with

Prime Minister Edi Rama has returned to the train rhetoric, as part of measures against protesters.

While announcing the creation of a special registry for persons referred or under investigation for criminal offenses against the state, Rama warned that air, sea and rail transport companies will also be notified of persons who intend to evade justice.

The paradox is that the prime minister talks about trains in a country where passenger rail transport does not function, so his statement mostly turned into material for memes and jokes on social media.

"The VKM creates a special electronic register of persons referred or under investigation for criminal offenses against the state. This register is administered by the Police and contains the identification data of these citizens.

Persons who intend to evade criminal offenses will be denied entry. Foreign authorities will also be notified of the risk they pose. This includes air, sea, and train transport companies.

"Every person, strong like those in white T-shirts and masks who came yesterday as mercenaries to inflict violence, and who showed their muscles in front of the Ministry of Education, should be convinced that whoever commits violence in Albania will find trouble to re-enter Europe peacefully, without having to deal with justice here in Tirana," Rama said.
