Students again in the square today, Rama provokes them with concrete benches

A day after the massive student and youth protest in Tirana, Prime Minister Edi Rama has repeated his invitation for dialogue, through a post on social media. The head of government has again published images of concrete chairs and benches placed in front of the Prime Minister's Office, to sit down in talks with the protesters.

However, unlike in previous days, when he appeared in person in videos released before the protests, this time Rama has not appeared in the footage. The message for dialogue comes after a rally accompanied by tensions and clashes with police forces, while students and young people continue to demand the resignation of the prime minister and his government.

Students and young people have already announced another protest today at 2:00 PM, in front of the Ministry of Education. They have announced that they will not back down from their demands and that the protests will continue until Rama and his government are removed.

Yesterday's protest, the 12th in the context of the student revolt, was accompanied by violent clashes with the police, while injured people were also reported.

Despite the prime minister's repeated invitation for dialogue, protesters continue to insist on their demands, including the government's resignation.
