Rama does not give up on the leading role, reacts again after the Vishkulli

Prime Minister Edi Rama continues to keep his role in sending Erjon Vishkulli to Italy for specialized treatment in the spotlight, reacting again after the statement of the sister of the 28-year-old who was seriously injured in the eye during the protest in Tirana.

After Rama claimed earlier that he had personally taken the initiative to treat the young man, Vishkull's sister reacted by stating that the expenses were covered by family and friends.

After this reaction, the prime minister returned with another clarification, insisting that the medical plane trip to Rome and the expenses were covered by the state.

"The boy's sister from Elbasan posted the attached text, so with great regret I have to return to this topic for anyone who reads, shares or publishes her post. As I informed earlier, the initiative for the boy's specialized medical service in Italy was not taken by "persons", but by me personally, and his trip to Rome by medical plane, as well as the coverage of expenses, were made possible precisely by the STATE and by no one else!

I even wished him a happy passing before he left with his brother from the airport VIP lounge, from where I myself, the President of the Republic or the Speaker of the Parliament, depart abroad. Not at all for protagonism, because the protagonism these days belongs to all the perpetrators and their instigators, but for humanity, because when the madness of stones and Molotov cocktails stops, even the injured perpetrators are citizens of this country who need to be helped, treated, and healed.

Gone once again!", writes Rama.
