Law student challenges Rama: We are not afraid of punitive measures!

A young protester, a recent graduate of the Faculty of Law, has sent a direct message to Prime Minister Edi Rama, stating that students will not be intimidated by the punitive measures announced by the government.

The statement was made during a media appearance, where civil society representatives and intellectuals announced the submission of a report to SPAK regarding alleged police violence against students during the protests.

The young man said that the government's measures have a backstory and that, according to him, they will be overturned by the Constitutional Court. He stressed that the protesters have no intention of backing down from their demands, despite the Prime Minister's warnings.

The student declared that young people will continue their mobilization, combining daily work with protests during the evening.

Referring to the government's package of measures against the protesters, the recent Law graduate expressed his conviction that they will not succeed in stopping the student movement. He stressed that the protests will continue, while opposing the efforts that, according to him, aim to intimidate young people through legal measures.
"As a protester, as a graduate of the Faculty of Law, Rama must bear in mind that those measures have a background.

Communist principles, which go against EU principles. The Constitutional Court itself will overturn them.

"But let him forget that we will be afraid of those measures, let him not think about it. We eat gas during the day, we work at night. Let him not underestimate us," he said.
