The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, described yesterday's protest as a victory for students and high school students, as according to him, neither violence nor pressure can stop their revolt.

In a conversation with citizens on social networks, Berisha called on Albanians to support young people, while reiterating the demand for the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Berisha said the protest is not limited to Tirana, but has also included universities and high schools in other districts of the country. He described the movement as a revolt against the government and as a call by young people for their future in Albania.

Berisha : Dear citizens, yesterday was a culminating day of the 12-day revolt of the students and high school students of Tirana, but the truth is that universities and high schools in several districts of the country were also involved in their strike.
I said yesterday was a day in which the citizens triumphed, the students triumphed.
The students triumphed because they proved to the Albanians, but also to the entire international community that there is no violence, no terror, no threat that can defeat them.
That they are determined to defend their cause at all costs against a narco-dictator and the institutions of the narco-state that forces them to leave Albania through theft and crime.
There have been many protests from 1990 until today in the streets and squares of Tirana, but I can tell you that this is the most patriotic protest.
This is the call that comes from national identity, that comes from the soul, the heart of those thousands and thousands of boys and girls who tell us that we must make Albania.
Who with their protest tell us that we do not want this country to be emptied.
Who tell us that we want to build our beautiful dreams on our land.
So, this call at the most critical moments of the nation, never has our nation been in a more critical moment of the complete emptying of our country.
Never in 10 years has our nation increased in average age 10 years like these 10 years.
Never has our nation had such a dramatic decline in fertility, it has fallen to the fertility of 100 years ago at the time when Albania was less than 1 million.
Never in 10 years has our nation lost 47 percent, maybe even more, of its inhabitants in Albania.
So, if we sit and analyze this manly confrontation of extraordinary epic courage that inspires every person, these girls and boys ready for any sacrifice, they deserve the most total, most absolute support.
These are protesting for each of us.
They are protesting for the children, for the children of our children.
That is why yesterday, together with them, thousands and thousands of citizens called by the DP, education unions, miners' unions, orders of architects, engineers, etc. protested.
It was magnificent!
With their presence, the citizens told the criminals in uniform and the head of the criminal organization that we become the armor of these boys and girls and you have lost the battle.
You resign because you are one of the greatest evils of this nation in history and you are the Albanian-speaking Pashiqi of Albanians as the great German journalist called you.
