Aulon Kalaja responds to Balla, publishes conversation with minor who was raped

The chairman of the DP in Krujë, Aulon Kalaja, has reacted to the accusations of Taulant Balla and several social media pages, which have accused him of fabricating a video and using a minor to deceive public opinion.

The reaction comes after the publication of a video where Kalaja appears next to a 17-year-old who, according to him, was raped by the police while eating a sandwich.

In a video message, Kalaja called the accusations slanderous, insisting that he would not violate journalistic ethics for political gain. He wrote that the publication of the video had disturbed the authorities and urged his opponents not to judge him by their own actions.

A response in honor of public opinion regarding the video I published, when I found a 17-year-old boy who had been beaten by the police, while eating a sandwich. A forced response to the slander of Taulant Balla and several websites that have said about me, that I allegedly slandered, fabricated a video and used a child to lie.

I know that this video has hurt you a lot and has hit the government in the heart. I will make a public appeal to you, do not confuse me with yourself. I know that you are desperate, but I cannot help you. I have respect for my profession and do not violate journalism. Furthermore, follow a telephone conversation that I will have with the 17-year-old.
