Expulsion of Bardhi and Balliu, Berisha accuses Rama: He proved that he is a

DP leader Sali Berisha has reacted after the decision of the Ethics Secretariat, which suspended Gazment Bardhi and Klevis Balliu from the work of the Assembly for 60 days.

Berisha accused the Rama government of behaving like a "narco-dictator" and a fierce enemy of pluralism and free speech.

The chief democrat noted that the DP will consider the positions it will take regarding the decision.

"Today, Edi Rama ordered, without any legal basis, to expel the chairman of the Democratic Party group and the deputy chairman of the security committee, Messrs. Gazment Bardhi and Klevis Balliu, from parliament for two months. 

"A fierce enemy of parliamentarism, protest and free speech, Edi Rama, with such acts, proves that he is a narco-dictator hated by Albanians. We condemn with the greatest force this illegal, unconstitutional, completely unfounded decision. Of course, the parliamentary group will meet to review the respective positions on this decision ," said Berisha.
