Tense scenes were recorded on Durrës Street in Tirana, where police officers chased several young people who were participating in the protest.
According to footage from the scene, most of the young people are high school students, including minors. Some of them were knocked down and laid on the ground by the officers, who beat them, while others were dragged away during the police intervention.
The incident comes at a time when the student and youth protest in Tirana has escalated, with the Police also using tear gas to disperse the crowd near the Ministry of Education.
