Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha has called on Prime Minister Rama to resign, after the latter declared that he would not undertake such an act.
Berisha declared that the students, the opposition and all of Albania have only one demand: Rama's departure.
Berisha: The DP strongly supports the demands of the student movement. And once again, it asks Edi Rama to resign immediately. He is completely hopeless. But if he has even a nanogram of human reason left, he should find the courage and resign. He should not suffer the fate that dictators who have not resigned have suffered from the verdict, from the justice done by the citizens. Resign is the ultimate demand of the student protest, of the Albanian opposition, of all Albanians.
