A 45-year-old man was injured by gunfire this evening in the Shkoza area of ​​Tirana.

The injured person is Dodë Legisi and has received a wound to the thigh.

He was immediately transported to the University Trauma Hospital to receive medical assistance and so far there is no complete information on his health condition.

According to preliminary data, the suspected perpetrator has been identified by the authorities and is wanted. It is suspected that the injury occurred after a momentary conflict over weak motives.

" The services of Police Commissariat No. 1, after receiving the notification that in Shkoza, on "Hulo Hajderi" street, a citizen had wounded citizen DL, about 45 years old, with a firearm, immediately organized the work to identify and capture the perpetrator.

Thanks to rapid investigative actions, it was possible to identify the suspected perpetrator of the incident, citizen EQ, around 43 years old, who, after a conflict for weak motives, at around 22:00, is suspected of having wounded citizen DL with a firearm. The latter is in hospital, under the care of doctors.

"Intensive work continues to capture the 43-year-old and fully document the case ," the police announced.
