The Special Prosecution Office (SPAK) has officially taken former Foreign Minister Olta Xhaçka under investigation on suspicions of corruption and money laundering.
The investigation is related to the same case in which her husband, businessman Artan Gaçi, is also involved.
Xhaçka appeared at SPAK on October 14, but did not give any statements to the media after leaving the institution. On the same day, her husband, Artan Gaçi, was also summoned to the Special Prosecutor's Office.
