The brood that needs to be thawed!

Albania is a country full of paradoxes, but one of the biggest may be that Parliament has an ethics committee that rigorously monitors and takes measures against Opposition MPs.

This Parliament where corruption and vote-rigging is protected, this Parliament where 15 municipalities are hidden and the same MPs who shout against vote for it in the end, this Parliament where criminal groups have their own representatives for whom they voted, this Parliament where the rules and the Constitution are periodically violated, the same Parliament where the Prime Minister never comes to give an account and answer the questions that the elected officials have, there is an ethics committee that does not tolerate if someone objects or throws a bottle of water.

And the ethics committee operates with zero tolerance. Opposition MPs should stay away for 2 months.

The Parliament of Albania has not only lost the role and function it should have according to the fundamental law, but has also lost all legitimacy. It is the offspring of voter patronage and continues to behave and take actions as such. It should be merged with the ethics commission once and for all.

It is an institution that does not represent society at the level of knowledge, education, values, and certainly not in ethics.

A parliament to be taken as an example of how the Albanian Parliament should no longer be.
