Serious crime in Gjilan, two killed and one injured, perpetrator surrenders

A serious incident was recorded this Friday in the village of Livoç i Ulët, in the Municipality of Gjilan, Kosovo, where two people, a man and a woman, around 30 years old, lost their lives as a result of gunshots.

Another person was injured and was sent for further treatment to the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (UCK).

According to a statement from the Kosovo Police, the Police Station in Gjilan received information about gunshots in this village. Police units and two State Prosecutors arrived at the scene, where they found that a man around 30 years old was found dead inside a vehicle.

Meanwhile, a woman of the same age group was taken to the Gjilan General Hospital without signs of life. According to preliminary police suspicions, she was also shot dead by the same suspect.

The third injured person received first aid in the emergency room of the hospital in Gjilan and was then transferred to the UCCK, where he will receive further medical treatment.

According to initial information, there is a suspected family connection between the suspect and the victims. However, the motive for the incident has not yet been revealed.
