Paris returned to the epicenter of creativity on October 3, 2026, when the fifth edition of GX Fashion Week took place on a very special stage at the Banksy Museum. This space, founded by Belgian producer of Albanian origin Haziz Vardar, is dedicated to the famous British street artist and was chosen to create a bridge between fashion and urban art.

Gentiana Dervishi, the director of the GX project, conceived this collaboration as a new step towards internationalization and openness to creative influences.

Following the success of the Milan edition, GX Fashion Week in Paris was supported by the Albanian International Fashion Federation (AIFF), giving Albanian designers an institutional and international profile. The presence of Ambassadors Dritan Tola (Albania) and Mehdi Halimi (Kosovo) highlighted the cultural and diplomatic importance of the evening.

The runway was transformed into a mosaic of visions where technology, tradition, and identity intertwined.

Tirana’s La Griffe Academy presented a Haute Couture collection on the relationship between human emotions and artificial intelligence. BR8 opened the show with a futuristic creation made of leather and iron, while Anisa Balika brought “An Impossible Love Story”, a reflection on the illusion and addiction to AI. Ermelinda Malqi with BENJAMIN presented the triptych HUMAN–MACHINE–HYBRID, while Xhea Kaba transformed fashion into wearable art. Deti Hoxha brought contemporary elegance, while Marsela Grimci Sukni with Pendium Sposa presented “Lule Borë”, a bridal collection inspired by the purity of the snowdrop.

Etnik Shala, one of the most famous names in Kosovar fashion, brought “ARKA”, a reflection on memory and heritage. The Academy of Design in Tirana presented new talents such as Xhesika Dëshiri, Enejda Likalla, Ezgi Özalan with “Midnight Echo” and Melina Skenduli with “MELI”, a collection that honors the figure of the queen bee.

The international dimension was also added by designers such as Maylin Aguirre, who brought her femininity-focused brand Maylin®, as well as students from the International Fashion Institute “Izet Curi” in Skopje. Rrona Dujaka presented a cosmic vision, Renea Kika was inspired by neural networks, Nikola Eftimov brought “DATA FIELD_01”, while Doruntina Kashtanjeva interpreted Van Gogh’s “Night Rainbow” in futuristic textures.

Other creations brought inspiration from aviation (Jehona Kastrati), dystopian visions (Vesa Xhelili), returns to Space Age aesthetics (Slavica Simeunovic), reflections on technology and nature (Ulpiana Toska, And Halimi), or on the heart as a symbol of life (Anita Murati). Musli Karaliti and Sofija Petrova brought futuristic architectural visions, while each designer transformed the garment into a statement on the future of humanity.

The backstage and visual coordination was carried out by the Hair & Make-Up team led by Alex Radulescu, Diana Jaupi and Barbara Screti, while Alessia Xhafa managed the pace of the show with professional experience. Alessio Marrari took care of international communication, positioning GX Fashion Week as a project with a global identity.

With the support of partners like MeZemër.com, Grand Hôtel Lafayette and Centre Culturel des Albanais, GX Fashion Week Paris proved that fashion is more than aesthetics: it is cultural diplomacy, art and living history. In the heart of Paris, amidst the rebellious spirit of Banksy, Albanian and international fashion came together to create a spectacle where art and fashion became one.
