What happened to Diddy in prison? The American rapper suffers a head injury

American rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs is suspected of suffering a head injury after a fall at the federal prison FCI Fort Dix, in New Jersey. According to US media reports, the 56-year-old was transported by ambulance from the facility on Saturday morning.

Prison sources said Combs was conscious and communicating when he returned to the facility before dawn. However, the circumstances of the incident and the extent of his injuries have not yet been released.

The rapper's representative, Juda Engelmayer, told the Daily Mail that his team was aware of the reports and was trying to confirm the circumstances of the incident.
"Sean's health and well-being are our immediate concern," he said.

According to TMZ, it is still unknown how the fall that allegedly caused the head injury occurred. Meanwhile, the Daily Mail has also sought a response from federal prison officials.

Will Diddy stay in prison longer?

News of the incident comes at a time when the rapper is serving a prison sentence, following a court case that attracted widespread public attention.

Last year, Combs was sentenced to four years and two months in prison after a jury found him guilty on two counts of transporting persons for the purpose of prostitution across state lines. He was acquitted of the more serious charges of criminal conspiracy and sex trafficking.

According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons, his projected release date has been changed several times. Currently, his release is scheduled for March 2, 2028, about six weeks later than the previous date of January 21, 2028.

The reasons for this change have not been officially announced. According to recent US media reports, Combs has returned to solitary confinement, following the publication of claims that he was enjoying privileged treatment inside prison.

An NBC News report, citing people who were in the same sector as the rapper, claimed that some inmates served him by preparing meals, cleaning his cell, and offering him massages.

Also, according to these claims, Combs may have had access to a cell phone and a modified tablet, through which he allegedly watched rapper 50 Cent's documentary, which deals with the allegations and controversies related to him.

Four people who stayed in the same prison sector also claimed that the rapper had access to smuggled alcoholic beverages, as well as other services not considered common for prisoners.

According to the same reports, these privileges were allegedly financed through other prisoners, whose accounts were replenished with purchases from people outside the prison.

However, these claims have not been independently confirmed. Combs' representative stated that there is no way to independently verify the published rumors.

Meanwhile, the Federal Bureau of Prisons has refused to comment on the rapper's isolation conditions, arguing that for privacy and security reasons it does not discuss the circumstances of the treatment of incarcerated individuals.
