Socialist MP Erion Braçe explained that he decided to vote in favor of the territorial reform in order to continue his work as an MP and not to leave the Socialist Party parliamentary group.

In the fourth point of his reasoning, Brace says that he chose to remain in office, despite the attacks and lynchings that he has faced, according to him. He emphasizes that the mandate was entrusted to him by the citizens and that he cannot withdraw from the responsibility of representing them.

Braçe states that his vote has disrupted, according to him, an internal political plan, also referring to the counting of votes during the process.
