The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has asked the party leaders and its structures to continue supporting students, amid the escalation of the protest in Tirana.

 During the meeting with the heads of DP branches in the capital, Berisha declared that the opposition will stand by the protesters and asked Prime Minister Edi Rama to resign immediately.

Berisha : I must congratulate all the leaders, members, and supporters of the DP, who have been there yesterday and today supporting the students.
