Tragic accident in Athens, three young people from Fier lose their lives, two

A serious accident rocked Glyfada in Athens in the early hours of Thursday, killing three young people from Fier and injuring two others.

The young people were traveling in the same vehicle, which for reasons still unclear left the road and crashed into the perimeter wall of a hotel.

According to Greek media, it is initially suspected that the car initially collided with another vehicle and then the driver lost control, ending up off the road.

Among the victims, a 26-year-old and a 23-year-old have been identified, while the identity of the third person who lost his life has not yet been released. The two survivors of the accident are 18 years old and have received the necessary medical assistance.

Meanwhile, Greek police are investigating another possibility regarding the cause of the accident. It is suspected that the young people may have been recording a video for TikTok at the time of the collision.

Investigators are verifying whether there are any images in the vehicle or on the young people's phones that may have documented the moments before or during the accident.
