Berisha calls on Albanians: Tomorrow, students and high school students need

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has called on Albanian citizens, parents and the diaspora to support students and high school students who have been involved in protests in Tirana since October 13.

In a statement to the media, Berisha accused the police of violence against young people, claiming that protesters, including minors and girls, were mistreated and arrested during the interventions.

He also mentioned the use of tear gas, stun grenades and other means during the clashes, while describing the police actions as barbaric acts.

Berisha emphasized the future, considering civic support for young people as particularly important at this moment of protests.

"Tomorrow, Tirana's high school students and students need the support of every Albanian in their epic battle more than ever," declared the leader of the Democratic Party.

In his message, Berisha also addressed Albanians living abroad, asking for solidarity with the young people protesting in the capital.
