Journalist Lutfi Dervishi has reacted with an ironic message against the backdrop of student protests, raising questions about those who express concern for the future of Albania, but also about the relationship between personal and national interests.

Through a direct question, Dervishi seems to question the positions of those who speak on behalf of the country's interests, while his reaction can also be read as a jab at Prime Minister Edi Rama, at a time when protests and clashes in Tirana have increased political debates.

"Have those who worry so much about the fate of Albania ever asked themselves who has put personal interest above the interest of the country?" Dervishi writes.
